This research delves into the challenges faced by women in achieving professional success in Pakistan, examining the complex interplay of cultural, religious, and socio-economic elements. It pinpoints major hindrances such as the misinterpretation of religious doctrines concerning the role of women, deep-seated cultural stereotypes, and pervasive patriarchal views. A significant obstacle identified is "Sifarish" (favoritism and nepotism), which hinders fair career advancement. The study underscores the lackluster execution of legislative measures designed to aid women in their professional lives, underscoring the necessity for more resolute efforts from both government and corporate entities. The suggested remedies involve collaborating with religious scholars to rectify misconceptions about women's roles in religious texts and initiating public awareness campaigns to dismantle stereotypes. The research demonstrates the beneficial impacts of women's employment on their personal lives and family dynamics, in addition to broader economic gains such as increased GDP and societal progress.
